How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple (or Google Play on Android), not by noBrainer directly, so cancellation happens in your phone's account settings.

On iPhone: open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, tap noBrainer, then Cancel Subscription.

On Android: open the Play Store app, tap your profile, tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, tap noBrainer, then Cancel.

You can also use the direct links: Apple subscriptions · Google Play subscriptions.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Settings, tap Account, then Delete account. You'll be asked to confirm.

Deletion is permanent: your household profile, meal history, and grocery lists are removed and cannot be restored.

If you also have an active subscription, cancel it first in Settings → Subscriptions on your phone — deleting the account does not automatically stop billing.

I never received the verification email.

Check your spam or promotions folder first — verification emails sometimes land there, especially on first-time delivery.

If it isn't there, request a new one from the verification screen and wait 2–3 minutes. Delivery is usually instant but occasionally delayed by mail providers.

If it still doesn't arrive, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we'll resolve it manually.

The app crashed or showed me a wrong meal suggestion.

Sorry about that. Force-quit the app and reopen it — most one-off issues clear immediately.

If a specific meal suggestion looks unsafe, allergy-incorrect, or otherwise wrong, please send a screenshot to [email protected] along with your dietary preferences as set in the app.

We use these reports to retrain how the AI ranks suggestions.

I have a serious food allergy — is the app safe to use?

noBrainer's AI takes the dietary restrictions you set during onboarding into account, but you remain fully responsible for verifying every meal and ingredient against your medical needs before cooking or shopping.

The app is not a medical device and is not designed to manage life-threatening allergies in isolation. If you have anaphylaxis or another severe allergy, treat suggestions as a starting point and double-check ingredient labels every time.
